Ongoing Projects
Rekha Memorial Charitable Trust is involved in several ongoing and completed projects that highlight our commitment to making a tangible difference.
1. Hospital & Clinic Development Project
We are in the process of building a community hospital in a rural area outside Varanasi to provide quality healthcare to underserved populations. The hospital will offer general medicine, maternity care, and child welfare services at a subsidized rate.
2. Educational Scholarships for Underprivileged Students
Since our founding, we have awarded over 50 scholarships to students from low-income families across Uttar Pradesh. These scholarships have helped students pursue higher education in fields ranging from engineering to medicine.
3. Clean Varanasi Green Varanasi Initiative
As part of our environmental conservation efforts, we launched the “Clean Varanasi Green Varanasi” initiative in 2023. The project includes tree plantation drives across schools, colleges, and community parks, along with public awareness campaigns about the importance of maintaining a clean and green city.
